Designed for real engagement with practical exercises and collaborative learning.
Whether you're new to the topic or an experienced practitioner, the course meets you where you are.
We move from concepts into practice in a thoughtfully paced way, weaving stories, exercises, and tools together.
You'll leave equipped with frameworks, tools, and confidence to apply what you've learned immediately.
This course is designed for anyone who works on digital or service-based products and wants to understand how User Experience (UX) fits into the bigger picture. Whether you’re in product, development, marketing, or operations, this hands-on session will demystify UX and help teams work more cohesively. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how user-centred thinking improves collaboration, reduces rework, and leads to more meaningful outcomes for users and organisations alike.
1. What UX really is – and what it isn’t
You’ll explore the fundamentals of user experience: how it differs from UI, its roots in human-centred design, and why it’s more than just “making things look good.” This gives teams a shared language and stronger foundation for collaboration.
2. Why UX matters across the whole team
Discover how UX impacts every part of a product or service lifecycle—from research and content to development and delivery. You’ll explore how better understanding of UX can break down silos and reduce common friction points between teams.
3. How to start applying UX thinking right away
Through activities and real-world examples, you’ll practise identifying user needs, understanding pain points, and considering context—no design skills required. You’ll walk away with tools and methods to bring back to your everyday work.
